The Kingsbury town site is hugely and unabashedly inspired by Dave Durham’s amazing creation of Parkersville. Kingsbury is home to many of my stories, and this side project of a site will help bring them all to life.
The Archive of Asdán
The Archive of Asdán is a very long-term project: a kind of lore book for the world of the Waters Cycle and all the related stories. It likely won’t see any action soon… unless I run up against a deadline.
The Old Johnnies Hymnal
If you’ve read a few of my stories you’ve come across the term Johnnies, the blanket term for many of the songs found in my work. Some songs are named in the text, but if you’re curious what else is sung in Asdan, in the churches and taverns alike, here’s a growing collection. These are just the samples. Head over to Spotify to get the real deal.
I’ll be adding more here eventually: ideas for several games I’m chipping away at with my kids, and maybe even some of the songs that play in my head while I write. I just need to find the right time (meaning, when I should be doing something else) to work on them.
